We will try to remember to turn SPOT on when I pick N3BV up in Mansfield before the race. Team Huf is planning on leaving on June 5th and will have SPOT on so that you can follow us west bound.

A new beginning
Everyone is asking for our blog address so here you have it - teamhuf.blogspot.com
I cannot promise how much we will blog but having one is a start.
So why Team Huf - you are asking? Elaine Huf and her husband Tom died in an aviation accident last Labor Day weekend. Elaine was my race partner in 2012. We had the best time, did some crazy things, had some mechanical issues (that DID NOT go away during the race) but Elaine was always very steady, not excitable, analytical - just a calming personality - they are great qualities in a race partner. This year's race partner Marilyn Patierno, who has a lot of the same qualities, suggested that our team name should be Team Huf since we were already Classic 15 (which was Elaine's badge number when she was a Bensalem police woman). So Team Huf it is. I expect that Elaine will be our crew member in the back seat - weightless of course but smiling none the less.
